Iowa State Patrol raises awareness | News
IOWA--The Iowa State Police will now have an extra boost in their efforts against distracted driving.On January 16, State Farm awarded the Iowa State Patrol a $25,000 grant to purchase three distracted driving simulators.
These simulators will be used to teach new and more experienced teen drivers the dangers of driving while distracted.
The Iowa State Patrol Safety Education Unit present more than six thousand programs annually throughout the state geared toward educating the public about the risk of distracted driving.
